Happy Molar Lunar New Year
Yay! My implant was finally completed. Since Apr 2007. And its fullest crowning glory occured yesterday. After baking the porcelain crown.
Well, its very very obvious that its fake because it has a screw head instead of the usual lines on top. And it feels off if you had a hole there for 2 years and now suddenly there's something there. But I'm glad its done. At least now I can chew with both sides. haha. No more jaw cramps. haha.
And CNY is literally round the corner. Corner of today and tomorrow that is. Been busy peeling carrots, potatoes, garlic, ginger, onions, small onions and the list goes on. Basically I'm somewhat a kitchen assistant who just does all the boring stuff for the past 4 days.
And the major socialising tomorrow. Goodness. Dreadful. Good thing is the focus will be thrown to my bro, since this is the first CNY he'll spend in S'pore since 4 years ago. So let's hope I can escape unscathed with the limelight on him.
Just reread Good Omens, by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Now I understand more since I could slowly savour it. It's a great book with a quirky collaboration between two brilliant authors.
